GERNI MAKES CHANGES TO IMPROVE NEPTUNE MODELS

Following the successful Neptune 7 upgrade, We are pleased to announce the latest upgrades to the Neptune 4s and 5.

The Neptune 4-49X has been replaced with the new Neptune 4-50FAX and the Neptune 5-57X has been replaced by the Neptune 5-61FAX.

The key changes and improvements can be summarised as follows:

STAINLESS STEEL BOILER COILS

The upgraded models will get stainless steel boiler coils, thereby extending the life of the boiler coils, thereby allowing for use in previously sensitive environments such as food manufacturing and wineries. This was previously not possible due to potential contaminants from the mild steel boiler coils. Remember that emissions need to be controlled, that is, a diesel fired hot water high pressure cleaner must only be run external to the production facility, or where there is a chance that fumes will contaminate air quality or food products.

 

FLOW ACTIVATION

A traditional pressure activated by-pass system, no matter how sophisticated, places a lot of stress on hoses and guns. Flow activation therefore provides the following very significant advantages and selling features:

Start up (due to only tap pressure in the system)

Very little motor load - resulting in longer motor life

Very little load on the gun - therefore the trigger is easy to depress and trigger valve components will last longer. Additionally, the easy start means less operator stress

In the case of a tap being turned off, the machine will not run - there is therefore no possibility to dry-run the machine

 

Standby (due to only tap pressure in the system)

A flow activated system requires a big flow of water to restart the machine. This means that a slight gun leak will cause a machine to start and stop continuously on a machine with pressure driven by-pass system. this is not the case with a flow activated system, and is therefore the No. 1 selling argument.

The high pressure hose in standy only has water at tap pressure withing. If run over, it is less susceptible to being damaged.
